A TOKAJI TASTING, Mon 4 Dec 7pm

THE TASTING CLUB GOES TO TOKAJ

We’ll be taking an in-depth look at the sweet wines from Tokaj, Hungary, led by our very own Isa Bal MS.

Tokaj – now a UNESCO World Heritage site – is actually the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, and the first to make wine from rotten grapes (noble rot, that is, of course…). Despite this, tokaji wine is not commonly found within UK wine lists, nor indeed across much of the world; something we consider to be a great oversight! We’ll be tasting a variety of sweet wines from 12 different producers from the region in an event that – we think – fits perfectly with this time of year, and celebrates a tipple that deserves enjoyment and recognition from all wine lovers. During the evening, we’ll also be serving a few small savoury dishes to cleverly pair with the wines, proving the versatility and balance offered by this style of sweet wine in food pairing.

Our Tasting Club members have had early access to the tickets for this event, but we are now opening sales up to our non-members for the final places.

Tasting Club Member Ticket Price: £80/pp

Non-Member Ticket Price: £95/pp
